Small City, Big Heart
Then and Now
In a city commission government, voters elect a small commission, typically, from five to seven members, on a plurality-at-large voting basis. These commissioners constitute the legislative body of the city and, as a group, are responsible for taxation, appropriations, ordinances, and other general functions.
The commission meets monthly on the 2nd Monday of the month, unless otherwise posted. All meetings start at 6:00 pm, at City Hall, 32 East Main Street, Halliday, ND.
For more information or to place an item on the agenda, please e-mail your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Voting Ballots may be dropped off at the city auditors office, if she is not at the office please drop in the water dropbox in the entryway.
Caution: the city employees are jetting the sewer lines, this will pull all the water out of the traps. Please put water in the kitchen and bathroom sink, flush toilets and put some water in floor drains.
